Part of The Webby Awards’ mission is to recognize the power of the Internet as a tool to unite, amplify important messages, and raise awareness for global issues. Over the past few months, global issues from government responses to the COVID-19 outbreak and systemic racism have shown the importance of competent leadership— that's why The Webbys team has been working with Vote.org to encourage our community to register to vote. Similarly, over the past few weeks we have been highlighting resources that support Black communities. If you are looking for more ways to support the movement for black lives, here is one: support the Black Futures Lab.
