Meet The New Bass Digital Education Fellows
The 2021-22 cohort of Bass Digital Education Fellows (offered in partnership with the Graduate School) will gain deep knowledge of digital pedagogy, build valuable consulting and project management skills and successfully launch digital projects under the guidance of Learning Innovation. This year’s cohort represent a variety of subject areas, including religion, electrical and computer engineering, psychology and neuroscience, mechanical engineering, German studies, and literature. |

The Graduate School will hold an information session on Oct. 14 from 3:30 - 5 pm for graduate students on fellowships available to them, including Bass Instructional Fellowships, with time for Q&A about fellowship applications and support. Applications for 2022-2023 fellowships are due Nov. 12 (more info). |

How is Your Course Going? Let Us Solicit Mid-Semester Student Feedback
As we arrive at the midpoint of the Fall 2021 semester, our consultants are available to help faculty who wish to reflect on successes and identify areas for improvement within their courses through Small Group Instructional Feedback (SGIF). SGIF is a formative, mid-course check-in used for gathering information from students on their learning experience. Learn more about the process or contact us to schedule your SGIF session. |

| Upcoming EventsData Collection Strategies for Research on Teaching and Learning Wednesday, November 3, 12 - 1 pm Eastern (Online) There are many ways to collect data for research projects related to teaching and learning, from simple surveys to complex experiments and more. This workshop will provide an overview of common data collection strategies including using existing data, pre/post surveys, retrospectives, observations, experiments, and focus groups. Teaching and Leading for EquityThe Office for Faculty Advancement is pleased to offer the new Teaching and Leading for Equity 4-part workshop series. The program is designed to support faculty who aim to grow their skills in navigating issues of racism and equity in their classrooms and curriculum, teaching across lines of race, class and gender with diverse groups of students, and building strong learning communities with their students and colleagues.
