The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the largest barrier reef in the northern hemisphere, hugs our resort. When on vacation here as a diver, you can help protect this underwater world we love! By getting a PADI Aware Specialty certification, you'll learn ways to address the threats facing coral reefs today. Until then, you can learn about our reef conservation efforts and the progress of our Coral Nursery Program here. |

When you visit Anthony's Key, you'll see a group of Garífunas perform their traditional dances live at the Island Fiesta! The Garifuna people were the first to form a settlement in the Bay Islands over 300 years ago. Another weekly event is a day at Maya Key. The excursion consists of a picnic lunch, a tour of the wildlife rescue center, and access to the Mayan Interpretation Center, which depicts the history of the Mayans in this region. In addition to these weekly experiences, the Roatan Museum is located at Anthony's Key Resort. This small museum contains a wealth of historical information on the Bay Islands and its people. Resort guests are welcome to visit the museum any day of the week. |
