#LifeImitatesArt No one can beat the creativity of our community! We've thrown our hat into the ring to take on the competition begun by Getty and Rijksmuseum of re-creating museum artworks at home. Have you been following the game on Facebook? From Noguchi to Chant, our community's interpretations of our collection and famous works of art are pretty extraordinary! Ready to get in on the action? It's easy! Find a work of art you love, in CAM's collection or otherwise, and re-create it with objects from around the house. Then, snap a picture of your creation next to the original and post it on our page. Or you can message it to us and we'll post it for you. Looking for inspiration? Access some images from our collection online here, thanks to UNCW's Randall Library! |

CAM Needs Your Help #GivingTuesdayNow Due to the COVID-19 crisis, CAM made deep budget cuts. We're working now to ensure CAM's future, but we need your help. #GivingTuesdayNow is an international social media campaign to promote giving, culminating with a day of giving on May 5, 2020. We need to raise $25,000 by June 30, and you can help us do it. There are a few ways you can help. If you're able to give to the future of the museum, please donate here, become a member here, or share the gift of membership with a loved one here. If you're on Facebook, give on our page, host a fundraiser on your page for CAM for #GivingTuesdayNow or for your birthday and invite your friends and family to give. Working together, we can keep our doors open for the future. Contact john@cameronartmuseum.org for more information on how you can help. Art can bring us together, no matter the distance. Art can comfort us, connect us, allows us to share our experiences, and to see our shared humanity and common history. We thank you for your steadfast support and belief in Cameron Art Museum.
