Lion Brand Yarn Company is pleased to announce #StitchAroundTheWorld, a major virtual event we’ll be presenting on Lion Brand’s Facebook Live channel on
Thursday, April 30 at 12:30pm EST!
Hosted by Lion Brand ambassador Shira Blumenthal (founder of our anti-bullying campaign #HatNotHate) and featuring a fun lineup of special guests, #StitchAroundTheWorld will be a massive Zoom gathering that folks can join or watch on Facebook, right after the April 30 episode of Shira’s daily series, “The Shi Show!” which recently garnered national coverage from The Today Show!
We’re inviting knitters, crocheters and crafters from across the globe to join in and help make this the largest virtual crafting event in history!
Additionally, the event will draw attention to #HatNotHate’s recent partnership with It Gets Better Project, a global non-profit organization that also combats bullying, specifically as it relates to LGBTQ youth.
In this heightened time of isolation, #StitchAroundTheWorld will act as a fun, unifying and calming display of creativity, which, for one hour, will cross borders, oceans and time zones.
