Editor's Notes

Three things:

1.) Technically Media CEO Chris Wink examined what a police-sanctioned mob in Philadelphia says about systemic racism. tl;dr (though you should r): "Overt racism makes for juicy Instagram video. Structural racism grinds on lethargically, menacingly and ceaselessly. We need to confront both."

2.) Yesterday was the first work day for Technical.ly Philly's newest reporter and Report for America fellow, Donte Kirby! We're so excited to have him on our team. You can read his first story below.

3.) Reminder: Today is still Election Day. You have until 8 p.m. to vote, both in person and via mail.

Stay safe, and be well. Black Lives Matter, now and always.
