Literacy means much more than reading—digital, news and media, civic, visual, multicultural, financial, and health literacies are as essential as reading readiness. In this free course preview live webcast, Library Journal's Executive Editor Meredith Schwartz will share four case studies of innovative literacy programming and show how integrating literacy into your library's strategic plan can improve outcomes. Meredith will also introduce the program of the new online workshop Literacy Redefined, which starts September 27. She'll go over the speaker lineup, the interactive format, and the blueprints you'll walk away with to integrate into your own library.

At the end of the webcast, Meredith and host Sara Lustig from Edmaker will take questions from the live audience.

(The webcast will be available on-demand following the live session, but live Q&A will not be available.)
