Litquake Family, Be the host of your very own virtual Litquake event! Litquake On Lockdown series opens for submissions this Monday 3/23! We know that people are in need of creative outlets and entertainment, so we're asking our supporters to host virtual events from the comfort of their homes (or anywhere with a strong internet connection). If you have an idea for a virtual event, send it our way! Our crack submissions team will be selecting a number to stream live to our audience. Due to time/staff limitations, submissions are capped at 100. Submissions open: Monday 3/23 Submissions close: Thursday 3/26 Programs begin: Tuesday 3/31, events to run in the evenings Event Details: 1 hr maximum run time Streamed live on the Zoom platform All participants will receive a modest stipend as gratitude for their involvement All participants will have their photos and bios listed online What we're looking for: Not only for Bay Area locals! We’re opening submissions up to anyone and everyone. So many communities are affected by Covid-19--we’re all in this together. Those who can give a great interpretation of their work to a live audience Had a SF Bay Area book tour stop cancelled? We’d love to hear from you. Proposals for events with a clear topic and list of participating authors Including but not limited to: readings, storytelling, panels, interviews, one person shows, really anything with a literary bent!
