“Fuck White Supremacy, Let’s Get Free.” Such is the enthusiastic name of Patrisse Cullors’s dance performance, in which she welcomes anyone to join her in an Electric Slide. Cullors speaks with Matt Stromberg about an upcoming online version that she will be hosting with the Hammer Museum. In notable news, the Library of Congress acquired Mary Chaney’s courtroom sketches of the Rodney King trials held in Los Angeles between 1992 and 1994. The 269 drawings are the first courtroom sketches by a California-based woman artist to enter the Library of Congress’s collection. We’ll return soon with more information on how museums are planning to receive visitors. – Elisa Wouk Almino, Senior Editor | |
