Bail battle: District Attorney Jason Williams says bail is being set too low for defendants accused of serious crimes, and he's told the Criminal District Court's chief judge that he's considering pulling his prosecutors from first-appearance hearings if things don't change. New president at UNO: After months of searching, the University of Louisiana System has chosen Kathy Johnson to be the next president of the University of New Orleans.
