Lieve Lowlanders,
Iedereen zag het al aankomen, maar nu is de kogel door de kerk: Lowlands gaat deze zomer niet door en wordt verplaatst naar volgend jaar. Dit omdat er tot 1 september geen grootschalige evenementen mogen plaatsvinden vanwege de coronacrisis.
We balen daar net zo hard van als jullie, want iedereen had er onwijs veel zin in: de kaarten waren in no time uitverkocht, artiesten, kunstenaars, schrijvers, theatermakers, wetenschappers, foodies en crews waren geboekt, en iedereen stond te popelen om naar Biddinghuizen te komen. Maar we kunnen niet anders: we’re in this together en iedereen begrijpt dat de maatregelen die door de overheid zijn getroffen nodig zijn. We kunnen nu alleen maar vooruitkijken en beloven je dat we van Lowlands 2021 een feest als nooit tevoren maken.
Lowlands is aangesloten bij de ‘Bewaar je ticket, geniet later’-regeling waardoor je ticket geldig blijft voor Lowlands 2021. Binnenkort ontvangen kaartkopers een mail met daarin gedetailleerde informatie. We hopen je op 20 + 21 + 22 augustus 2021 in Biddinghuizen te zien.

NO LOWLANDS FESTIVAL THIS SUMMER |

Dear Lowlanders,
We all saw it coming, but the hammer has finally fallen: there will be no Lowlands this summer. The festival will be moved to next year due to the ban on large-scale events until September 1st as a result of the corona crisis.
Like you, we are heartbroken. Everyone was so excited: tickets were sold out in no time, bands, artists, writers, theatre makers, scientists, foodies and crews were booked, and everybody was raring to come to Biddinghuizen. But there’s no way around it: we’re in this together and everyone understands that these government measures are necessary.
All we can do now is look to the future and promise you that we’ll make Lowlands 2021 an all-out party beyond your wildest dreams. Lowlands is affiliated with ‘Save your ticket, enjoy later’, a Dutch contingency plan for the cultural sector, which means that your ticket will remain valid for Lowlands 2021. Ticket buyers will receive an email with detailed information.
