Lynn is a life-long artist, showing promise at an early age; winning local, national and international awards by the age of 15. Artist John Collier, was Lynn's first mentor, providing encouragement and guidance early on. After his retirement, she went on to take the helm of Mr. Collier's weekly workshops and continued to develop and show her works.
Then, after having a family, her artwork moved into the area of graphic design. She holds a B.A. in Creative and Performing Arts from the University of Redlands. Her emphasis included fine arts, graphic arts, music and theatre arts. In the past decade Lynn has worked professionally with a wide range of clientele: TV commercial producers, publishers, non-profits, musicians, theatrical directors, photographers, universities, and production developers.
In 2016, encouraged by her family and friends, she immersed herself back into oil painting with the help of new teachers and mentors; Kevin MacPherson, Colley Whisson, Josh Clare, among others. Lynn is the Artist in Residence forThe Wildlands Conservancy Oak Glen Preserve, working to develop a visiting artist's plein air program and painting full time. Her studio is on the TWC's Oak Glen Preserve in the Southern California Mountains.
