No Images? Click here ![]() It’s an exciting day at the ERLC. As one of our supporters, I wanted you to be one of the first ones to know that Stand for Life, an online pro-life organization, has been adopted as a new initiative of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention. Stand for Life started as a grassroots movement and is now a catalyst for social change, engaging, educating, and equipping communities to understand the significance of human dignity through compelling storytelling and personal narratives. Dr. Moore and I couldn’t be happier about continuing the outstanding work of Stand for Life at the ERLC. Those who serve vulnerable women teach us about what it means to stand with both conviction and kindness. Stand for Life started on August 6, 2015, after founder Jess Barfield posted an image of herself and her son on social media with the word “LIFE” across their photo as a filter. As a result, #standforLIFE went viral and people all over the world began posting photos with the LIFE filter and sharing their own stories about why they value life. We at the ERLC are humbled by founder Jess Barfield’s comments on this next step for Stand for Life:
We are encouraged and excited for how God will use this new initiative to create a culture of human dignity and sanctity of life for every single person made in the image of God. Sincerely, P.S. Make sure to follow Stand For Life on Instagram and like them on Facebook to stay up to date with our work. Follow Stand for Life and stay tuned for exciting new developments! |
