Annie - A Closer Look Kitty

By Donna

Annie - A Closer Look Kitty - kitty with cell phoneThis is my Annie...she thinks she is my guardian and caretaker! She follows me everywhere and is vigilant about keeping an eye on me so I really had to laugh when I realized that she was checking me out in my phones reflection! Ha! I just thought that she was pretty clever (and discrete about her surveillance!)

Emergency Preparedness for Pets
Don't forget about your pets. In an emergency situation, you have to be able to have your pets taken care of. Don't leave them in your home when you have to evacuate, this is when they need you the most.
Make Your Own Non-Slip Pet Dishes
To keep your plastic pet food bowls from sliding all over the floor, glue some old canning jar rubber rings to the bottom of them!

Planting Grass in a Dog Run
We've lived in our home for 3 years now. We had a 20x40ft dog run, recently reduced to a 10x40ft run. After this last winter and now that the snow has melted, we have quite the mess of dirt and poop sludge. Yuck! What do I have to do to replant and bring some grass back to that area? Will grass even grow after all that poop? If so, what should I plant?
