Some exciting news!

Here & There: A Canadian Geographic Travel Podcast won the 2024 Honourable Mention Lowell Thomas Award for best podcast from the Society of American Travel Writers Foundation — North America's most prestigious award in travel journalism.

With a record number of entrants to the SATW competition this year, Here & There’s episode, Meet the mountain women behind Banff’s adventure culture drew these comments from the judges. "This episode is a great exploration of daring women and the personal perspectives behind getting outside of one’s comfort zone to connect with the history and culture of a place. Liz Beatty’s delivery and the way she takes listeners from one setting or idea to the next is incredibly natural, skilled and inviting."
Congratulations to Here & There host and executive producer Liz Beatty and her team at Black Cabin Studio.
