It's been almost a year since gates were installed to prevent busloads of tourists accessing the grounds of Morisset Hospital and feeding the local kangaroos. Several people were attacked as the roos became addicted to the regular carrots and junk food, but it seems the new gates are working. | |

Man charged after police officers stabbed | |
A Sydney man has been charged with stabbing two police officers at a service station in Toronto at the weekend. The 25-year-old was detained with the help of bystanders and fronted Newcastle court on Monday, apologising for his actions and becoming emotional when bail was refused. | |
