Freightliner to invest $14 million in Gaffney expansion

Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp., a manufacturer of vehicle chassis, plans to expand operations in Cherokee County. The $13.9 million is expected to create 193 new jobs. The company currently employs more than 1,000 people at its headquarters. (GSA Business Report)

Dennis Eagle to establish Dorchester County facility

The company, which manufactures refuse collection vehicles, plans to establish operations in Dorchester County next year. The S.C. Department of Commerce said in a news release that Dennis Eagle’s facility will create 21 new jobs. (Charleston Regional Business Journal)

Nucor Corp. buying TrueCore of Laurens County
