March Repair Café at the Atelier!
March 2nd from 10am - 2pm

Repair Cafés aim to reduce landfill waste by fixing items, teaching new skills, and building community! Our fixers and menders will be sharing their knowledge and skills around fixing everything from torn clothing to the wiring in your favourite lamp.

In collaboration with the Government of Ontario
Hosted at Mauril-Bélanger Social Innovation Hub, known as the Atelier.
This event is free and registration is not needed, donations are always welcome.

Women's Day Workshop - Woodworking for Women+

Stephanie will be running this amazing Intro to Woodworking workshop for Women+ where you can make a keepsake box while learning about tools in this supportive, inclusive environment. This workshop is happening on March 6th - only 2 days before International Women's Day! Get your tickets now!

Workspace Safety 101 Workshops

Introduction to different power tools, including the band saw, mitre saw, drill press, and drill. Taking an OTL Safety course is a requirement for anyone who wants to use certain tools in our WorkSpace. We have two sessions being offered this month.

March Break Pysanky Workshops! 

Get excited, our Ukrainian Easter Egg workshops are back! We now have kids, family, and adult workshop options, all happening over March break and on Good Friday. This is the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill and take home some beautiful eggs, just in time for easter! 
Thursday, March 14th at 6pm; Adult Workshop
Friday, March 15th at 9am; Kids ages 9+ Workshop
Friday, March 15th at 1:30pm; Family Workshop
Make a Leather Credit Card Holder

This workshop is an introduction to working with vegetable tanned leather. Our instructor, Chris, will show you how to layout, cut, hand stitch leather, and add the finishing touches to make it perfect for day-to-day use!

Good Friday Pysanky Workshops 

Create some Ukrainian Easter Eggs just in time for Easter! This is the perfect opportunity to do something with your partner and/or family to celebrate the long weekend.

Ottawa Women of Inspiration


Our co-founder, Bettina, has been named a Woman of Inspiration by the Femmes Remarquables / Ottawa Distinguished Women. She'll be receiving an award on March 27th and we'll all be cheering her on. Join us in recognizing the work she has put into our tool library and give her a big hug next time you see her at OTL.
