We are excited to share with you that the IETM Focus Luxembourg report, Lost in Transition?, written by Elena Polivtseva, is now available to read and listen to.
Last November, 121 IETM members gathered together in Luxembourg to carve out our own role and failings, as well that of cultural funders and nation states. Provocative and profound sentences were spoken as we analysed the pressure points of our times, yet also allowed ourselves to imagine the perfect world. We also aimed to paint the first stroke of what IETM´s vision for an ideal green sector could look like.
Imagine the Perfect World: ‘We inhabit green, carbon-neutral places which are designed for people- and are in harmony with nature.’
Almost 100 participants have already registered for the IETM Sofia Plenary Meeting 2024, taking place 12-15 June 2024. As we work hard behind the scenes to prepare exciting programme updates, innovative workshops and enriching artistic performances, we encourage you to secure your spot, register (early bird deadline: 15 May) and start planning your trip to and stay in Sofia. Consider extending your stay in Bulgaria by signing up for the pre or post-meeting trips to experience more of the rich culture and art of Bulgaria.
The pre-meeting trip to Veliko Tarnovo and Gabrovo and post-meeting trip to Varna offer a chance for participants to make the most of their time in Bulgaria and delve further into what the local artistic scene has to offer.
There are only a handful of spots remaining for the IETM Caravan Lofoten 2024. Guided by a strong team of partners ready to give insight into the performing arts in Arctic Norway, participants will immerse themselves in the vibrant world of the performing arts of Northern Norway and explore the uniqueness and reality of this artistic community.
Maximum capacity: 30 participants Registration deadline: 30 July, or whenever max capacity is reached
Last month, IETM received its first ever SHIFT eco-certification for our 2023 activities, alongside fifteen other networks. IETM is proud to be one of the pioneers of the SHIFT eco process, which was developed and designed specifically for networks. The first year was a huge learning process for IETM, but one which has given us credibility in our green transition work.
We are proud to introduce a newly designed version of IETM's Environmental Policy to bring our promises and actions to life in a clear, digestible and creative manner. We invite all those interested in reading about and sharing IETM’s plans for reducing our environmental impact to download the publication via the button below.
