🔔 After the Closing Bell |
We come to you AFTER today’s closing bell, much later than usual, because this afternoon featured the long awaited Fed Decision, which has significant short and long term impact on investment opportunities…
Fed Chair Powell declined to cut rates again despite pressure from President Trump. |
The markets remained mostly neutral despite a bearish news day. More on the Fed Decision and today’s big headlines below… |
Fed Chair Powell is taking a “middle of the road” approach, lowering their GDP outlook and saying that he does see higher inflation coming due to tariffs and the economy slowing overall. US consumer spend is also continuing to fall for the 2nd consecutive month which is a bearish signal. Continued uncertainty with the Iran-Israel conflict and if there’s going to be US involvement (likely bearish) or a deal (likely bullish) should be closely monitored as it relates to short term investment decisions.

“Real Estate. Always. (if you can afford to own any at this point). It seems the investors who started pre-2020 have the funds to buy more at these higher prices, while everyone else who has wanted to can't buy in. In addition to people just wanting to own a home. Everything's effed.” |
