We're doing a series on predictions for the 2025 market.
Here are my preditions:
2025 Market Predictions: A Bullish Outlook with a Twist
Volatility Expectations: Sebastian disagrees with the prevailing high VIX expectations for 2025. From what i've previously experienced, Trump has been a low vol president. So i'm thinking that continues.
But...I do think volatility will likely increase leading into the inauguration.
After that I think it'll fall back down.
S&P 500 Target: Despite the potential for early year volatility, I see a strong year for the S&P 500, targeting a year-end level of 7,200.
Tech Giants: I think Microsoft can become the most valuable company in the world, while Google will experience significant growth in market capitalization.
Broadcom vs. Nvidia: I see some rotation from Nvidia to Broadcom in the chip space, potentially hindering Nvidia's growth in 2025.
Reddit: The Next Facebook? Reddit has the potential to become the next social media giant, with significant growth potential and the ability to quickly monetize its massive user base. He predicts Reddit will become a $100 billion dollar company within the next year.
That's it for my overall market predicitons for 2025.
