| U.S. stocks closed Wednesday's session in the red with the Dow falling 0.4%. The Nasdaq slid 0.1% on the session and the S&P 500 lost 0.2%. Today, futures are up slightly in the pre-market. Inflation Insights Today's Consumer Price Index report should shed some light on the inflation question. Many of the top economists at the Federal Reserve believe the recent bout of inflation will be a short-lived phenomenon, but others are less optimistic about the impact that historically high levels of stimulus and government debt will have on the USD. Only time will tell who's right. |
