An eventful October

Happy Tuesday, Baltimore. As you can probably tell from the domestic and international news cycle alike, we're living in some difficult times, so I implore you all to take care of yourselves.

If that, for you, includes engaging with your local professional community and ecosystems, then rest assured, there's a lot you could be checking out this month. Below, you'll see stories that explore the lineup for next week's DC Startup Week — an event that, from personal experience, always draws folks from the Baltimore area — and the tech behind the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, which is staging "As You Like It" through Oct. 22.

There's a multitude of other events throughout the region that make tech a top priority for the rest of October and into November. Here's just a sampling:

You got any other great local tech events on your October calendar? If so, let us know about 'em by emailing baltimore@technical.ly or responding to this newsletter, and thanks!
