Emergency Connectivity Fund debuts

New federal aid is available today, and this time it's specifically geared toward digital access for students.

The application window for schools and libraries to apply for funding from the FCC's $7B Emergency Connectivity Fund to close the homework gap opens Tuesday.

We're curious if any local educators or library administrators are going to apply to use these funds to buy Wi-Fi hotspots, modems, routers, devices or broadband service.

Baltimore educators: Could this fund be helpful to you? Tell us why or why not. Reply here or email us atbaltimore@technical.ly.
