Axed: Stinky school bus evacuated School evacuations are always scary, no matter the scale. But a recent evacuation from a bus at a Florida middle school is unlike any that came before it. The bus was cleared after reports of âhazardous materialsâ being released, and half of the students present were sent to hospitals for minor respiratory irritation. When inspectors went inside the bus, the odor was unmistakable: Axe body spray. This brand of deodorant has been popular with middle-school-aged boys for almost a decade, and itâs a regular fixture of locker room fights that are affectionately dubbed âAxe wars.â During these events, the students will spray each other in the face with the body spray and stink up the whole room. But even though inspectors on the bus âsmelt it,â none of the students are telling who âdealt it.â Snitches get stitches. Thatâs middle school, for you! If that school bus sounds ridiculous, wait until you see one built for street races. Tap or click to see the drift-racing school bus. â |
