Unfortunately the modern media has redefined what is acceptable based on the political winds and now this piece of 19th century entertainment history can’t even be posted on eBay because it depicts white men in black face, long before Al Jolson popularized his famous black face persona and his most famous film, “The Jazz Singer”.

All I see is a stunning work of entertainment art from 135 years ago when the masses didn’t have TVs, radio or phones and relied on the extraordinary entertainers of the great minstrel shows. But as Eckhart Tolle discusses in his masterpiece book, “Awakening”, there will forever be people that will surf the universe looking to be offended, while others are just wanting to enjoy the beauty of life.
