Stocks traded in a narrow trading range for the S&P for the second day in a row, about 15 points from lows to highs as investors await key inflation data tomorrow morning…

The CPI will be out at 8:30 AM EST and could help give us a definitive answer if the Federal Reserve is done hiking interest rates.

U.S. stocks started the day in the red, impacted by weaker lending data and weaker trade data out of China that negatively affected commodity names and prices.
