Microsoft trials 3-day weekends in Japan, productivity up 40%
Microsoft Japan trialed a four-day workweek over the summer and found productivity increased by 39.9% and absences decreased by more than 25%. The company found 92.1% of workers who participated in the trial said they enjoyed the four-day workweek.

Survey: Public-sector employees value financial-literacy programs
A Center for State and Local Government Excellence survey showed 43% of public-sector employees said they were very or extremely confident about making financial decisions, but 65% said having a financial-literacy program offered by their employer was important. The survey showed 54% said they worried about their finances while at work, and 29% said they were very or extremely knowledgeable about finances generally.
