McDonald's investigation of former CEO Steve Easterbrook has revealed allegations that he covered up incidences of inappropriate conduct by other employees, and the company also is looking into the behavior of its HR department. Former managers have spoken out about HR leaders ignoring complaints and say they feared reprisal for raising concerns.

Former Google employees fill in "gap" with tech classes

Xoogler School is a new online school created by former Google employees that will offer eight-week classes on tech topics targeted at students taking a gap year. Several Google alum -- including former Google Cloud President Amit Singh -- will donate their time mentoring or teaching students about different subjects, including career planning and getting internships and jobs at Google.
