| | AI is taking over — even in mini-golf The only time I ever played mini-golf was in "Rugrats" for PlayStation 1. With the announcement of Puttshack, a tech-infused mini golf center set to arrive in Baltimore next year, I guess I'll have the opportunity to do it for real. As the Baltimore Banner recently reported, Puttshack is bringing its tech-infused mini golf center to Harbor East, complete with AI-powered golf balls that track your score — which is kind of cool if you ask me. Who needs trusty old-fashioned pen and paper when you can rely on AI to keep your mini-golf game on point? Just make sure those golf balls don't get any funny ideas and start aiming for the highest score themselves! But for real, players will compete for points rather than aiming for the fewest strokes, with opportunities for bonus points and hazards that can reduce scores. This will be Puttshack's first venture in Maryland. What do you think about this upcoming attraction? Are you excited for some tech in your mini-golf? Let us know by replying to this email, and happy putting! — Technical.ly Reporter Alanah Nichole Davis (alanah@technical.ly)
