COVID-19 virtual press conference

Regular COVID-19 virtual press conference will not take place today, Friday 21 May.

WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus will address the Global Health Summit, a special event of the Italian G20 Presidency taking place in Rome, Italy today.

Dr Tedros is expected to address the Summit during the 15-16h CEST time period. He will also offer closing remarks at the ACT-Accelerator segment scheduled from 17-17h15 CEST.

How to watch:

Pre-Summit, the Summit and the Joint Press Conference will be available on the Italian government website: https://www.governo.it/it/diretta-video and the European Commission website: https://global-health-summit.europa.eu/index_en
