Click here Tuesday 20 April, 2021 Online forum and press briefing on malaria elimination to mark World Malaria Day Over the last 2 decades a growing number of countries have been approaching, and achieving, malaria elimination. Ahead of World Malaria Day, marked each year on 25 April, country leaders, frontline health workers and global partners will share experiences and reflections on efforts to reach the target of zero malaria through a virtual forum. On this occasion, WHO will announce a group of 25 countries that have the potential to eliminate malaria by 2025. WHAT: “Reaching Zero” – a virtual forum co-hosted by WHO and the RBM Partnership to End Malaria. A press briefing will follow. WHEN: 21 April, 2:00-3:30 pm CEST (Geneva time) for the forum + 3:30-4:00 pm CEST (Geneva time) for the press briefing.
