| | | | Who will help 'Build Our Future'? Gov. Wes Moore has introduced the "Build Our Future" grant program, an initiative to support innovation infrastructure projects in the state's key technology sectors. This pilot program, funded with an endowment of $10 million, will provide matching grants of up to $2 million to projects demonstrating transformative potential in areas such as cybersecurity, manufacturing, quantum technology, and more. We've got some questions out to Maryland's Department of Commerce, which is overseeing the selection and distribution of grants, about where the endowment comes from and what steps the Department of Commerce has taken to ensure that the application and selection process is transparent and accessible to a wide range of recipients.
