Diversity, Inclusion and Community Are Among the Touchstones of Adweek’s 2020 Brand Genius Honorees

Each year, Adweek awards Brand Genius honors to a number of the top marketers in the industry. This year's class features 10 standouts, as well as our Brand Visionary, Ryan Reynolds, and Brand Save honoree Bryan Stevenson of Equal Justice Initiative.

Check out the list: Marketers like P&G's Marc Pritchard, Verizon's Diego Scotti and Walmart's Janey Whiteside earned Brand Genius status.

Adweek's Brand Visionary is a celebrity who has built a brand around themselves, often intersecting with the brand marketing world through their own product lines or as stars of major brand campaigns. This year's honoree, Ryan Reynolds, has fully embraced brand marketing—it's part of his core professional identity as the owner of Aviation Gin and Mint Mobile. He's the face of those companies' advertising, often creating the marketing ideas himself, along with his creative partner George Dewey.

Read our interview with Reynolds: He explains his creative process, as well as how to maintain a light tone during such trying times.
