I didn't know that you could still buy a perpetual license of Microsoft Office until I read this story in TechCrunch today.

The last time I bought a forever copy of Office was in 2006, when I also dropped way too much money on textbooks for the upcoming semester. I don't need to tell you things have changed since then—and journalists agree that Microsoft is sending smoke signals that say, "We'd love for you to just move to the cloud already."

Google Workspace Updates | Google is changing the hierarchy of privileges within the Calendar privileges section of the Admin console.
