Spring Bass: Now's the Time
"IT'S HARD to jump the gun on a bass and panfish pond," notes Chester Allen in "Spring Bass Wake Up Early." The great thing about bass ponds is that in the US they are often within walking or biking distance, or at most a short drive away. Even if you think of them as a warm-up for trout or tarpon, they can help start your season off right.
