Miley Cyrus is safe after her plane makes an emergency landing
The Grammy nominee was en route to Paraguay to headline the 2022 Asuncionico music festival when the plane she and her crew were on got caught in a storm and was struck by lightning.
Alongside a video of the storm taken from the plane, Cyrus revealed: "Our plane was caught in a major unexpected storm and struck by lightning."
"My crew, band, friends and family who were all travelling with me are safe after an emergency landing," she added.
A second photo shows the damage where the aircraft seems to have been struck.
