🌬️ Temperatures are dropping folks. The National Weather Service issued a freeze warning across a large portion of Minnesota through Tuesday morning. Chilly temperatures will persist with highs in the 50s south to upper 40s north

Minneapolis pastors promote depolarization as an act of faith

Through a series of workshops, two Minnesota pastors have been teaching congregants how to listen better, how to bust through their media echo chambers and how to use their faith to empathize with people on the other side.

2 charged after Twin Cities Buddhist, Hindu temples hit by national theft ring

At least four Hindu and Buddhist temples in the Twin Cities were burglarized earlier this year. Two men have been charged in connection to those burglaries and others in a sprawling case police say connects to a national ring targeting temples. Religious leaders say their communities are "shattered."

In divided St. Cloud, challengers hope to flip House seats

Control of the Minnesota Legislature is up for grabs in next month’s election, and the outcome of two St. Cloud-area races for the Minnesota House could help determine which party is in charge of the state Capitol. While many legislative districts in Minnesota are either solidly Republican or DFL, in the St. Cloud area, voters are evenly split.

🛬 VP hopefuls make Midwest push as Vance pops in on Minnesota, Walz swings through Wisconsin. Minutes after Gov. Tim Walz took flight Monday on a campaign swing to Wisconsin, Sen. JD Vance touched down in Minnesota as the vice presidential candidates campaigned ahead of Election Day.
🏆 Minnesota grower wins again at World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off. Travis Gienger's pumpkin weighed in at 2,471 pounds. That wasn’t enough to beat the world record he set last year — that pumpkin was 2,749 pounds — but it was enough to win this year’s title by just six pounds over the runner-up.
🗳️ Indigenous Peoples Day event in Minneapolis encourages voter registration, education. Indigenous communities across the country celebrated Indigenous Peoples Day Monday. In Minneapolis, the community marked the holiday by making sure people are registered to vote and know about the issues.
🌊 Honoring water on Indigenous Peoples Day. Several events took place around the state for Indigenous Peoples Day, including a gathering to honor and bless a creek in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities.

📇 Wisconsin officials require burning permits in 13 counties as dry conditions continue.People in those areas will need an annual DNR permit for burning in a barrel, a debris pile, and in grass and wooded areas unless the ground is snow-covered
