| | PODCAST | Is There a Path Forward in the Middle East? | The war in Gaza continues to rage on, compounding misery and suffering in the Middle East. Questions surround the conflict but few have answers, and there’s no clear end in sight. Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who served from 2006 to 2009, took the stage at the 2024 Aspen Ideas Festival to share his frank thoughts on the situation. Washington Post reporter David Ignatius interviews Olmert about Netanyahu’s government, how the war started, and how the region might emerge from bloodshed. The diplomats give insights into the region’s complexities and possible paths toward peace. Both talks were held on June 26. Listen
