The pandemic has been a testing time for parents, and the recession will be worse for many. But the even-more-grim reality is that lots of parents have been struggling anyway.

- Work/life struggles have taken on an added dimension during the pandemic as many parents are working at home — often while overseeing distance learning for kids whose schools are closed. In Ipsos polling fielded for Newsy in April 2020, 47% of fathers and 31% of mothers agreed that their kids are impacting their ability to work.
