CapCity Cup was born out of our desire to honour our status as the Nations Capital professional soccer club and highlight our local soccer community, its passion, growth and abilities, explained Ottawa Fury FC General Manager Julian de Guzman. We aim to have CapCity Cup be something fans look forward to every year, and our way of thanking them for their support by bringing in a quality opponent for a demonstration of our brightest up-and-coming players.
This special match will be a part of the I Heart Soccer celebration that takes place from June 9 to June 18 at TD Place. All events during the 10 day span will take place at TD Place that range from FIT development clinics, adult soccer tournaments, glow soccer night, Canadian Women's National Soccer Team watch party, blind soccer and more!
