UNO cuts: The University of New Orleans will consolidate some colleges and reduce administrators as it struggles to plug a $15 million budget deficit. This comes on top of cuts and closures announced earlier this year. Marie Fazio has the details. Grain terminal: Residents of the Lower 9th Ward and Holy Cross are speaking out against a $30 million grain terminal they say will pollute their neighborhoods, a project that was approved without their input. Desiree Stennett has this report. Bywater project: The City Council has rejected a developer's bid to add four feet to the height of its planned hotel on the vacant lot next to the Rusty Rainbow footbridge in the Bywater.
