More on that clean refinery coming to Acadiana

What is a net-zero emissions technology refinery? If you've been around Louisiana long enough but not in the industry, you're probably wondering, is that possible?

I spent the last couple weeks talking to people about Green Fuels Operating plant planned for Acadia Parish. The company is ambitious and plans to open about a dozen across the country, but the plant here is expected to be their first.

It is expected to employ 60 and offer an average salary of $80,000 -- just shy of double the median household income of Acadia Parish.
