Good afternoon,

She was a Guardian Angel who was just 'being a mum' - yet lost her life

As the Manchester bombing inquiry continues we hear the story of Lancashire's Michelle Kiss, 45, in an emotion pen portrait by her family.

Reporter Stef Hall is in Manchester where later today we will hear from the family of Leyland's Saffie Roussos, the youngest victim.

Meanwhile, today is the day Lancashire's new restrictions (not including Blackpool) come into force. Late night venues must close at 10, families must not mix in private homes and gardens and table-service only in restaurants are among the new rules. For full details please look at the website.

Last night the Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the rest of the country will be following Lancashire's example after the coronavirus crisis was moved from threat level three to four - that WILL include Blackpool. He will be speaking in a televised broadcast tonight at 8pm.

Meanwhile, an entire primary school was forced to temporarily close yesterday in Preston and Premier Inn owner Whitbread is shedding thousands of jobs after being hit heavily by Covid and the lockdown.

In other news, an injured person was cut from a car wreck by firefighters and a Morecambe pub has refuted claims they are racist, after seemingly refusing entry to boxer Tyson Fury and his elderly dad because they are travellers.

And, in a story to make you smile, a woman has built a posh coop called 'Duckingham palace' to house two flightless ducks who made their way into her back garden. After a grand opening, they will snuggle in for winter.

For all the latest news keep an eye on our live blog.

Have an enjoyable Tuesday and stay safe,
