| | Asymmetrik acquired Here's a quick first look at acquisition news from the community that we're following: Annapolis Junction-based Asymmetrik was acquired by Blue Halo, an Arlington, Virgnia-based technology provider to the national security community, the companies said Tuesday. Founded in 2008, Asymmetrik has a presence near Fort Meade, and in Northern Virginia. It provides open-source intelligence technologies designed to enable the collection and analysis of publicly available information. Asymmetrik's presence in Annapolis Junction has grown over the years, with 120 employees now based out of the Anne Arundel County HQ. "The combination of Asymmetrik's and BlueHalo's deep technical capabilities, cultures of excellence, and focus on the mission will only further enhance our ability to serve our customers' most important and complex needs," said Jonathan Moneymaker, CEO of BlueHalo, in a statement.
