Beer lovers, rejoice🍻

When it comes to beer, Michigan has been raking in the accolades this year. Last week, USA Today named Hop Lot Brewing Co. in Suttons Bay the second best beer garden in the country.

Grand Rapids has just been named as the No. 1 Beer City in the United States by USA Today in its annual Readers’ Choice award. This marks the fourth year in a row the city has been recognized for its beer scene.

Bell's also landed a spot in  USA Today’s 10 Best List of brewery tours in the country. Beer fans can tour Bell's breweries in Comstock Township or in downtown Kalamazoo.

Poll results reveal that residents are deeply divided about the state of the county.

Stay tuned: Over the next week, MLive reporters will publish stories about what that poll showed, diving into the data of what county residents in this West Michigan community feel about everything from its high-profile leaders to whether residents like the county’s new motto, “Where freedom rings.”
