There's bipartisan support for the change in Michigan A bill introduced in March 2021 that would put the state on the summer schedule daylight saving time year-round has yet to see movement in the Senate after the same measure passed in the Michigan House last April. The sponsor of the Senate’s version of the bill, Jeff Irwin, D-Ann Arbor, said he would be happy to support the Republican-sponsored House bill should a renewed push to advance the measures reach the Senate. It’s because of daylight saving time that Americans get an extra hour of sun at the end of the day in March but one less hour in bed. More than 66% of people who reported falling victim to a cryptocurrency scam also reported losing money. In Michigan, 31 scams have been reported to the BBB Scam Tracker from Jan. 2020 to March 2022. Lake Superior dipped to 600.92 feet above sea level in February, its lowest mark since 2013, according to the Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Lake Michigan and Huron are also seeing lower water levels than in recent years. In February, Lake Michigan-Huron measured at 579.13 feet – about 18 inches lower than last February. It’s the lowest mark since 2017.
