Michigan's first snowman of the season? Possibly! |
OK, we have no way of actually verifying who might have made the first snowman of the season here in Michigan. But the first one I've personally seen is the tiny, adorable snowman built by the forecasters at the National Weather Service in Gaylord. They didn't have a ton of snow to work with in Gaylord, but the NWS crew certainly made good use of it. You can see their creation below. There are probably plenty of creative snow sculptures being formed in the U.P. this week after some areas got absolutely covered in snow. Take a look at this photo from Herman, Michigan, in the western U.P.

Beware of scams: Michigan's attorney general warns of 'pig butchering' crypto con. |
Don't fall for it: Scammers have been luring in potential victims with the promise of being a long-forgotten friend, a new friend, a wrong number or lover via text messages and social media apps, according to the attorney general’s office. Pig butchering?The new scam is rising in popularity on sites like Tinder and WhatsApp. It is called “pig butchering” and combines a romance scam with an investment spin.
