A string of shootings within days in Kalamazoo have left two dead and multiple other victims injured. Now city leaders are calling for an end to the violence that most-recently resulted in the death of 33-year-old Shequita Lewis, a mother, PTO president and recent county board candidate. "We just have to find a way to understand that we are in this together," Kalamazoo Mayor Bobby Hopewell said. "Violence is not the solution."
