Lawmaker accused of selling his vote over text says he 'should have called' instead
 
A Republican state representative is standing firm in the face of turmoil. Rep. Larry Inman, R-Traverse City, was indicted by federal prosecutors this week for attempted extortion, bribery and lying to an FBI agent. Inman is calling the entire ordeal a big misunderstanding, saying texts can be misinterpreted and don't prove bribery. He also is resisting a call to resign by House Speaker Lee Chatfield.
